Motorola Xoom WiFi

Motorola Xoom, which stands on the market because one tablet with Android OS 3.0 Honeycomb, is already available but the 3G version is sold (so far) only U.S. operator Verizon. With the exception of mobile connectivity (3G/4G CDMA, unusable in Europe), Motorola WiFi Xoom is identical in configuration and function to the first model. The tablet features a 10.1 inch screen with a resolution of 1280 × 800 pixels, Nvidia Tegra SoC 2, 1GB RAM, 32GB of NAND Flash memory and two cameras. The presence or absence of a GPS chip, often associated with the 3G, has not been confirmed. Motorola WiFi Xoom will therefore be launched in the U.S. on March 27, at a sale price of $ 599. The cost seems comparable to that of iPad (WiFi and 32GB), while the 3G model is significantly more expensive ($ 800 against $ 730).

The operating system chosen by the producer is very versatile and consists of many native applications that make it usable in many contexts. These include G oogle Maps 5.0 with 3D graphics, Google eBook for access to several books in digital format and the market from which to download software and games on-the-fly.
