Alienware M11x R3

Alienware, Dell‘s subsidiary company, known for its notebook and desktop “extreme, ” provides for the upgrade of the line of ultraportable M11x gaming with the new Intel Sandy Bridge. The notebook has a 11.6 inch wide screen and a resolution of 1366 × 768 pixels, a very high value if compared to the size of the display of the new Alienware M11x R3.

The specifications are not official (the product will be announced in April), but the signs appeared on the Internet shows that the hardware configuration is provided at the highest level. The processors are the Core i5-2537M, 1.4 GHz (2.3 GHz Turbo), Core i7-2617M 1.5 GHz (2.6 GHz Turbo) and Core i7-2657M 1.6 GHz (Turbo 2.7 GHz), while the allocation of memory will be up to 8 GB DDR3 to 1333 MHz

For storage there is a traditional hard drive with capacities up to 750GB (SATA II 7200 rpm) or a Samsung 256 GB SSD. No information on the discrete graphics card (in today‘s second review is a GeForce GT 335M). In addition to Ethernet and 802.11n WiFi, optional modules are available 3G, LTE and WiMAX.

Price is not yet known, but given the quality of the components, it is likely a figure of no less than 700-800 dollars.
